The survey by AptiQuant, a Vancouver-based Web consulting company, gave more than 100,000 participants an IQ test, while monitoring which browser they used to take the test.
While the result didn't say that the user of Internet Explorer is quite dumb, but actually the result suggest so.
By mean average, the user of Internet Explorer score lower than average in IQ Test and as quite expected, the user of other more popular web browser like Firefox, Chrome and Safari score above average in IQ Score. What about with other browser?
Well, feel free to surprise the user of less popular browser like Opera and Camino by average score exceptionally High in IQ test. The user of Internet Explorer 6 has the lowest mean score below 80 while the user of Opera score highest mean above 120. The mean population is 100.
By amrket share, IE triumphantly leading with count of 43%, followed by Firefox little under 30% and Chrome next with 19%.
This test is of course can't be scientifically responsible for actual result since the survey itself is particapated by voluntary people rather group selected by AptiQuant.
But I think can accept the result. I was a user of Opera before currently using Firefox (just because of the persona and IDM integration). I think Opera is the best web browser if we didn't count for minor problem(which actually very major to me). And that's explain why I have very high IQ.
Well, if any of you using IE read this article, no need to feel offended man. Just change your browser to Opera and tell your friend how genius you really are.
