Japanese Cars industry may have become Innovative in unique way. A set of rules first introduced by Toyota. After Toyota first introduce Miku to market their newest Corrola series, now Mazda seems to be interested in that kind of marketing Ads campaign and introduced Kirino from Anime Ore no Imouto hopefully to boost the staggered sales of their car. But Mazda using a different approach from Toyota in which Toyota targeting US consumer while Mazda only targeting Japan Consumer especially Chiba prefecture since this Ads was appeared in yesterday edition of Chiba newspaper.
It is still unclear though what is the connection between Mazda and Kirino. If any it would maybe because the setting of the Anime located in Chiba. Now we should just wait and wondering what Honda, Nissan and Suzuki will use if they intrested in using such weird campaign. It is not surprise though that Ford may use Wonderwoman as their icon since they may want to follow a brilliant example set by Toyota.
