Kamisama no Memochou or in English known to be God's Memopad is a story about a plain highschool boy named Narumi Fujishima who someday by twist of fate meet a girl who claim to be NEET (Not in Employment Education and training) Detactive, Alice. Her appearance looks like a little girl and yet despite her appearance, there are many people loyal to her, gladly to do what she ask to accomplish the mission. They tried to uncover the mystery surrounding them. And thus a peaceful life Narumi had for years soon should be forgotten because of this selfish Alice.
I very welcome another Detective theme with Loli heroine. Gosick which end by last season is so much a success. i hope this Anime could trail its predecessor too.
What so interesting about this Anime is of course in the illustrator part. It is Mei Kishida who illustrate this Anime. For those of you who still don't have any idea who the hell is Mei Kishida. It is the same man behind Atelier series (starting from Rorona until meruru) whose its mediocre gameplay but thanks to its Moeish artstyle succeed to make the game very popular in Japan.
And if you realize, the artstyle is a bit similar to previous season's Hanasaku Iroha. Narumi Fujishima almost has the sama facial face as Kou in Hanasaku. Mei also illustrate some other Anime including Kara no Kyoukai and Sora no Wo-to.
The first Episode is 45 minutes long. More than enough to give you idea what this Anime is all about. The story is just above average, not too special, eventhough concept like this never been used by other Anime, but it is just a small innovation comparing to Hanasaku Iroha storyline. The Graphic as I babbling above is of course very beautiful. But again, it is not as pretty as Hanasaku Iroha, maybe it is because the setting in which Kamisama no Memo-chou located in Urban City while Hanasaku Iroha located in rural village which gave much chance to implement beautiful artstyle. About the OST, it is very good. "Kawaru Mirai" by Chouchou able to excellently fit with the theme. Causing such enthusiasm. I give this Anime score 8/10.
A Recommended Anime for all Viewer. You got Pretty heroine (Otaku type B) and quality story(Otaku Type A). With this season lack a fairly good Anime means that Kamisama no Memo-chou whould be on your watchlist.
