After a long one year from the first season. The awaited Second Season finally aired. I can’t wait to see how Akihisa and his gang tried to challenge other class. Unfortunately, if you thinking the same as me. You maybe feel a bit of let down. A filler in first episode itself is quite a surprise. And to add more surprise, it is a beach scene, something that seems to be forbidden for first episode. Nonetheless, it is a good beginning for a new audience giving an earlier idea of what this Anime is about.
The story centers around Akihisa Yoshii, the "baka" of the title. His academy rigidly divides up the student body into classes based on the results of tests. The prodigies are in the A class with reclining seats complete with air conditioning, but Akihisa is in F class, the lowest rung of the school ladder which is furnished only with low, decrepit tables and worn-out straw tatami mats. A girl named Mizuki Himeji is actually one of the smartest girls in Akihisa's sophomore year, but she had a fever on test day and was pigeonholed into the F class. Besides Mizuki (who Akihisa secretly adores), the F class also has Yuuji Sakamoto, the class president who has been Akihisa's friend and partner-in-crime since the freshman year.
There is not much increase in quality for graphic part (of course any change wouldn’t be preferrable since the original already fits so much with the theme). For the OP song, it is good, but not good enough compared to the first season. The BAKA Aura of the OP seems a bit missing or so I think. The most selling point of this Anime, the comedy is still pretty funny. Fortunately the director can still successfully put the joke in sync, every joke seems to be perfectly in place. No critic for me.
For those who like a Gag Comedy Anime. This one is for you. The Ecchi content is still tolerable for woman too. I give it a score 9/10
Genre:
Comedy, School Life, Romance (Major)
Ecchi,Gender Bender,Action (Minor)
There is also Yaoi,Yuri and Trap stuff, but I personally think that that are something very tolerable for both gender since the homosexual stuff is one of the largest part of the comedy.
